Hi there, I am due to renew my home contents insurance soon, and wanted to get my bikes covered.
I just wondered if anybody knew of any good places that has a good bike cover scheme.
Thanks

I'm sure you will get other replies of the same but here you are anyway Marks and Spencer they cover up to 4000 per item even away from the home
cheers,

Doesn't cover you for racing but should be okay for other uses0 -
I have buildings and contents cover with Greenbee (part of the John Lewis group). They're not the cheapest (although cheaper than M&S) but are one of the few who offer a decent amount of bike cover as standrad. Most insurance companies barely give enough cover for my winter bike then jack up the premiums if you want to include the other 5 bikes.0

Brilliant thanks for that... I,ve had a quote from both... As it happens M&S was cheaper for me!0

I'm with AXA and the cover is up to a few grand per item even if away from the house. I assume this covers bikes too but will check to make sure!0

I'm sure AXA are the underwriters for M & S Insurance.0

Yes they are, but it may be worth getting a quote, you never know!!0

I went with M & S and got the same cover as I did with A-Plan Insurance. Both underwritten
by AXA. With A-Plan I was paying £47 per month, with M & S I'm paying £29 per month.0 -
I've got mine covered with Legal and General as bespoke contents - I get near car/cycleguard like insurance on it for travelling accidents, 3rd party, theft, legal cover etc. it costs me £6 per month for £1300 of bike.
My (non regular commute Birdy just lives on the standard policy as a quoted £1000+ item at no extra.0
