Newport Track - 20 December 2009
I have a few places on a 2 hour track session (1200 - 1400) at Newport on Sunday 20 December. Cost £14 per person as share of track hire and coaching cost. Hire bikes at £7 for the session.
Max number is 15 people so plenty of room - suitable for novices/first-timers, and the more experienced track riders - the coach we usually have is excellent.
The time frame lets us have a good warm-up/down with some exercises and timed stuff for those that want it - and some resting!
PM me if interested
Rob

Any reason why it is limited to 15? Who is coaching it do you know?0

The velodrome has a limit of 15 riders on the track at any one time for "general bookings" (some regular club sessions are allowed bigger groups) - we find that 15 works for us.
Can't remember the coach's name - I think it's Mike ??

Ah ok was wonderring why it was 15. The limit is 40 but I guess if its beginners or private it may be different.
It is a bit manic with 40 sometimes, especially when Steve decides to do a maddison training ride!!
Could be pretty tiring doing routines for 2 hours with only 150 -

Robgul, hope you can make it for sunday
I was lucky to get down here for wednesday and managed to train Wed, Thurs and fri, and tonight was told San FAiry Ann from Kent can't make their session so coaches organised another to replace it tomorrow so I got another session tomorrow as I could not get back home to Luton due to snow
oh I also asked about numbers, Eddie is right, its 15 if novices present, but 40 if all experienced.
We had 36 tonight, good session.0
