Rear wheel compatible cadence computer

Slightly different to the recent thread re cadence computer question.
I need a computer with cadence feature that can be used on my summer bike
(sensor for speed/distance etc being mounted on front fork as normal), but also to be used on my winter bike, which is often used for turbo sessions.
This means the sensor/transmitter needs to be mounted adjacent to the back wheel for readings during the turbo sessions.
Would the distance between the transmitter/sensor (when fitted to say a chainstay), and receiver/computer be a problem with a wireless system?
If so are there wired computers with cadence features which have a rear wheel fitting kit?
All input will be appreciated.
Thanks.

Blackburn Delphi 3.0 has wired rear wheel cadence and also wired rear wheel speedo, so you can run everything from the rear wheel, great for turbo use.

Delphi 4.0 has wired cadence and wireless speedo, which only seem to work from the front wheel, if you try it from the rear wheel wirelessly then the speedo head is to far away (being mounted on the `bars) and it doenst` work. The cheaper 3.0 is the best bet for turbo work, the wires can be routed neatly on the underside of the frame downtube and up to the headstock.Jens says "Shut up legs !! "

Cateye Double Wireless (I use one), Cateye V2 and Cateye V3 all are0

+1 Cateye Strada Double Wireless.
Very compact, everything built into one sensor, all on the back wheel...Start with a budget, finish with a mortgage!0 -
More related to HRMs but both the Polar CS600 Speed and Cadence sensors can be mounted on the rear for use on or off the turbo as can the Garmin GSC10 which is an integrated Speed/Cadence sensor. It works with the 305,405,605 and 705 computers.0

The GSC-10 is a great piece of kit and can also be linked to the Garmin Forerunner 50 as a cheaper option.0

Thanks to you all. Much appreciated.

The Cateye Astrale 8 runs off the rear wheel, but is a wired version. Is a good computer though.0
