As the title realy. Recently took a bad of front end slammed into a tree shoulder and stem took the hit. been checking the bike over and found there is play in the head set. not the cups just the bit in the middle that is connected tio the forks.
I have recently changed the stem so dont know if i upset it some how.
Any advise would be great
cheers

if you have made up for any difference in stack height with the addition/subtraction of spacers and it is still there. you are in a spot."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

i havnt put any spacers on mate its the same height as before i have just fitted a shorter stem and new bars.
Would the crash some how of damaged the headset inside?0 -
well the CK design is so high tolerance and all that stops bit moving is a non adjustable collar.
if it is just the collar you might be ok. but it will most probably be a send away job."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
