Are these ok for biking

Looking at maybe getting a pair of eye shields to keep mud and rain out of the old mince pies and all I could find on CRC are a pair by M Vision but I noticed these in the screwfix catalogue and was thinking would they do. They say clear lens but they don't look it from the pictures.
After a pair with clear lens, so they can be used in low light and night time without making things look darker than they already are.
Other suggestions on eyes welcome as long as they don't cost too much.

Have a look a the bobster range of eyewear http://www.ee33.co.uk/o49wkp2359224/Eye ... 1-117-119/ probably be more comfortabl, less likely to fog. and more secure Also some will cost less as there is a fiver postal charge from screwfix.
I currently use spy optic mx goggles and they are fantastic (on crc from £20 ish) but would be cumbersome with an open face helmet.-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_

Why are MTB economics; spend twice as much as you intended, but only half as much as you wish you could afford? :roll:0 -

I find the yellow high contrast excellent this time of year for increasing visibility in the woods. The lenses are made from the same material as a motorbike visor and comply with EN1660 -
I have some Specialized Adaptalite glasses which are ace for daytime riding. For nighttime stuff I've recently bought some of these and they're excellent - super cheap, super light, very well made, protect your eyes well, and don't seem to steam up.

I bought them from RS as I can get a discount and free delivery through work - though if you can't order from them you'll find other places online that sell the same glasses.0 -

I use Bolle safety glasses with no problems, for winter I use a clear pair (BL10) the shape of the lense is designed to stop material being thrown into your eye from the side and underneath. Perfect for the mud.'nulla tenaci invia est via'

The Bolle BL10s are my favourites, they look good and they work perfectly. People say "Oh, you have to buy proper riding glasses for UV resistance and to avoid distortion- these have no distortion and they're UV protective, so....
Don't think so much of my Bolle Contour ESPs though, they make me look like BonoUncompromising extremist0 -
I've got Bolle Contours and they distort my vision.
Trail looks magnified.
I have no problems with my mates riding glasses or my Crowbars, so it's definitely the Bolles.0 -
I've got a pair of the JSPs and they're superb. No obvious distortion and seem to be virtually indestructable. Great alternative to trendy specs for budget concious riders.0

There's no noticable distortion with my Bolle Contours.0

Bolle contours which color to go for clear, smoked?
