Hi guys a quick question
found what appears to be a great deal on a bike; a commencal Combi
However it has v brakes. If I were to buy it and fit disc brakes would I need to change the wheels as well?. the frame has the disc brake mounts.
Also what do you think, a Commencal Combi 2007 brand new £199. is it as much a bargain as I think it is? Add on £150 for brakes or buy second hand for around£75 -£100 and it should be a reasonable spec for the money. I know people who say the Commencal frames are excellent... are they?
The rest of the spec is
sram x 4 transmission
forks : suntour magnesium legs, lock out, pre load adj
Cheers,
B

are the hubs disc ready?
if yes then fine if not you will need new wheels/hubs."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

doesn't look like it as it's setup for a v brake system
