FODCA trail - Forest of Dean, is it open?

Last week i looked on the Fodca site and it said the trail was closed for forestry works, but today it says its open....
Im going out sunday with some peeps from my way and want to ride here again but dont know if its open (its a fair way for me to go it is closed)
does anyone else know if its open or closed?? and what are the conditions?
