    I had to go out half way through the second half, came back in and was gutted for the Irish, what a way to go out, but you got the feeling from the seeding debacle onwards that the 4 'right' teams were going to get through.

    had the ref indicated a 'Man U are 1-0 behind' length of added time yet or was he about to run up the pitch and head the ball past Given himself.
