Anyone fancy some night rides around the northwest?
Got my light now, an it'd be pretty good to get a few "locals" together?

i'm in the north west but i only ordered some £30(worth but bought for £12 of ebay) and my parents probably wouldn't let me out with strangers in the dark.

what places are you planning on riding?

i'm a north west local,, and will be hitting a few nightrides now winter is here, were abouts you ride local... i done a few night rides up rivington thats my localspot.. am toying with a stealth mission round lee quarry,,
my night rides are restricted to weekends though pref sat night, due to work commitments and family..

weekends are fine by me, I just wanna get out and ride more!

TO the above Q as to "where am I in the NW" it really doesn't matter! i'm willing to travel for a good ride!

and i can't wait to try the single track at healy nab off rivington...

my hope vision 4 is gathering dust in the wardrobe,...

would you like to come with me to delamere next week. there is quite a lot of nice DH bits and great jumps. or come to our next meet up in delamere with whytepeak, compo and stealther and maybe delcol too

I try to get out at least one night a week, usually Thursday, but sometimes Monday. I've just got back from a rather damp Gisburn Forest, in fact I've been there since 9.30 this morning building trails!

Benj, I'll let you know my plans in future, you're welcome to join me/us.

i have a inset day on friday(27th) and i'm might be able to go on saturday or sunday but on weekends it's busy on the train and on the trails.and bear in mind i'm 13 and have a crappy bike, so you will be amazed at the things that i survive

I'll be up for a rivi, nab / delamere / LQ ride at weekends. Bit busy at the moment with other riding, but I think there is a decent sized group of us for rivi and delamere rides.

having thought about it anytime after 5 is night so as long as there is someone there that has a decent light if it gets too dark i should be fine so count me in for delamere

Up for Dellemere night ride.

I work in Chester & can be there for six(ish). Normally can get a few others. Wednesdays suit best as that is summer ride night!

Tuesday night theres 5 or so of us doing rivvi. Its every week and alternate the rides to keep the interest up but there is a bit of everything up there. If you are interested either register on the woollybacks forum and post up or reply on here and i'll let you know the meet point. Allways a good laugh and everyone welcome but need to be of reasonable fitness, proper lights and helmet etc
