Partially built:
Got to admit I borked the gear outer though, went to cut to length, but didn't realise I'd pulled it through by accident. So now need some more as it was about 6inch too short!
Just need to sort the gear cable, then index and size the chain.
Also got to sort out the headset as it is not playing ball!0 -

lol, looks good.
Might have to post some pics of my WIP inbred which is very very white...0 -
i'm surprised by the quality of the frame for the price, and its quite light.
I was expecting to really heavy.
The above build is 25lbs so far, just the seat/post to add really!0 -

Hmmmmm, that will be tasty, they do build up light! I think mine will be around 23-24 lbs.0

Looking good!
I have an inbred WIP too based around an 18" frame, white revelations, XT and XTR drivetrain, hope brakes, easton ea70 post bars and lots of red and white bling bits...
Just need to get the frame faced up and i'm ready to build0 -
I need to get my frame re-sprayed as i had one of the old frames with v-mounts and no disc mounts but got them welded on. Unfortunately cannot find a local powdercoater0
-
Got it all finished tonight, gears indexed, chain sized...
just waiting for my new seat clamp to arrive and I'm ready for test ride.
Also waiting for my hope top tube hose guides to arrive so I can tidy the rear hose up a bit!
pics up tomorrow night

What is the issue with the rear hose? I am hoping to get my inbred built up this weekend... There looks to be enough hose guides on the frame as far as I can see...0
-
hose guides on mine were complete loops, i'm guessing you don't want to take the hose off the rear brake, so you need ti guides to replace the typical zip ties?
its not a problem as long as you are confident with hydraulics and have enough time to do it.
only thing is, hope hose guides rely on the stopper part on the frame cable guide, and if its like mine (which was older and a bit different) then there aren'y any as they expect you to use an uninerupted rear brake cable if you're running anythign mechanical.- Kona Hot '96 - Marin Rift Zone '09 - Cannondale Synapse Carbon '06 - Kona Caldera '98 - Kona AA '94 - Dawes Kickback II - Cannondale BadBoy '11 - Genesis iOiD SS -0 -
Oh I see. Yes mine has loops too. I am stripping the brakes down anyway to put on some White hoses and anodised fittings so it shouldn't be a problem in my case.
Can't wait to get mine built up got the frame booked into lbs on saturday to get the bb facing etc done and them I can get cracking.
Similar spec to yours so I'm hoping around the 27lb mark all in.0 -
Here goes:

The bling monster claims another victim.
It's a slippery slope now I'm aftaid, soon you'll be looking for gold rotor bolts and bottle cage bolts, gold spacers (as it happens, PM me about this, I think I have a few you can have), a gold chain.....0
