Hi,

I have been riding a road bike for the last twelve months for my daily commute. I have been using 700x23 size tyres since I bought the bike. I recently ordered some new tyres, but accidentally ordered 700x20.

I was wondering whether I would notice much difference using these. I realise that winter is probably not the best time to try them out though.

I used to ride 20's - noticed a big increase in comfort when I switched to 23's.
Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos

23mm much better than 20mm - comfy and better grip - I'd see if you can change them ?

I'd save the 20mm's for Summer and possibly only then for racing. 23mm's for general use, 25mm for comfier/commuting.

  • I used to ride with 20s, they weren't great! I prefer 23s, they are much more comfy to ride on! And 25s, damn, it is like being in an armchair!!!!
