Hello all.

Im off to do the Edale loop at weekend and am struggling with my tire choice. I have the following tire's available

1 - Tiaga (dont know model) 26x2.3 (2 of)
2 - Specialised Captain Control 26x2.0 (1 of)
3 - Specialised Purgatory Control 26x2.2 (1 of)

With weather conditions predicted to be wet and muddy and with rock gardens thrown in i want a half decent set up with what i have got so was thinking the following:

Front - Purgatory
Rear - Captian

What you all think

Thanks

Good plan. 2.3 nameless tiogas sound suspiciously like Factory DHs, which are the second worst tyre known to man.

    Purgatory front, Captain rear

The only mud you'll encounter is on the climb up to Hollins Cross and along the top of Rushup edge, the rest is rocky/hardpack.We're doing it Saturday so might see you out and about 8)
I'll be running HRs,mate on (i think)advantages, other mate on either cinders or HRs and a couple of other i'm not sure about.I've never lost grip in any conditions(except snow) on this loop 8)

Tire - Make or become tired. Become impatient or bored with.

Tyre - A rubber covering, inflated, that fits around a wheel. U.S. - Tire.
