Halfords Cycle To Work Vouchers

Apologies if this has been asked before BUT...does anyone know if any LBS or chains (Leisure Lakes, Evans, JE James etc) accept the Halfords CTW vouchers?

    Hi.I ordered my wifes bike from halfords but picked it up from leisure lakes and spent the rest of the voucher in there too.

    Leisure Lakes definately do, not sure about the others. If you push Halfords when asking about availability of certain makes, they may tell you where they source their bikes more locally to you (they gave me a couple in Kent).

    thats ot fair! I have a cyclescheme voucher which I can use in any LBS but not in halfords! fancy a swap?!

    You might want to check out Halfords "sold to order" range too (even some of the staff don't seem to know about it!)

    The ones I recognise and can remember are Kona, Diamond back, rough mountain, Dawes and GT but there are more.

    I was also told (by Halfords) that I could use my voucher to purchase a Trek from a specific alternative bike shop.

    Cheers al! - I don't get the voucher until February (1st salary deduction at end of January) but Leisure Lakes looks well worth a look!

    The reason they'll tell you the details of Trek stockists, is because Trek DO NOT allow their bikes to be couriered, so you have to collect it. I didn't get a Trek, but when I was looking at one, Leisure Lakes were too far away, so Halfords gave me the details of a more local stockist. At least it gives you the chance to go and try the bike and get LBS service and set up. I chose the Boardman Team Carbon - Ltd Ed, eventually, and have had great service from Halfords with sizing, ordering etc. Set up for test ride was spot on, just hope the same guy sets up when it arrives.
