it's not the crossing that is dangerous...

...but only a few of the many hundereds of people who use each day that are. Nethertheless Network Rail are proposing to replace the crossing with either a subway or a bridge. With the bridge being a cheaper option I suspect this consultation is merely window-dressing with the decision already made.

    Have seen this on the news.Seems that they might even not bother with a bridge and ask people to walk around the long way (theres another bridge it said on the news, some half a mile away).

    Lots of old dears will be cut off, all because of a few berks
