Hi,
I live in Birmingham and I am looking to spread my wings a bit and go riding in the Malverns - can anyone suggest any resources to find out about routes in the area, or suggest some good ones themselves. I enjoy singletrack...
It would be best if I could get there by train but car is also an option - any local stations...?
I get the impression it's worth having an OS map too, so if anyone can let me know the map I need at the same time then I'll look at picking one up!
Thanks,
James

Yes can get by train there, you would have to catch the Hereford train as it Malvern is on it way.I don't have a bike addiction problem.....bikes seems to have a problem with me.....it just can't seem to stay on.

Good starter route here (2-3 hours):

Best map is the Harveys 1:10 000 one - even the OS 1:25000 gets confusing as there are so many bridlepaths crammed into such a small area.

Malvern Link Train Station is about 1 mile from the start of the route above - North Quarry.
Back on Track bike shop is also more or less opposite the North Quarry
