Hey all,

I wanted to ask your views about something wedding related, but I’m not going to ask unless Cat With No Tail says I can. Don’t want to be accused of mincing.

So if you read this Cat, can I ask? Promise it’s not too mincy.

  • Song for her to walk down aisle to:

Need to pick music for “the walk” and am trying not to pick something too common. Can anyone think of something suitable, but a bit off the beaten track.

We’ve been half thinking about something by Clapton, the guy is a legend on the guitar so reckon that could be cool. Either that or a capella version of something.

I think the only restriction is that it can’t have any religious reference, apparently a cause in having civil ceremony’s.

    List away…….

    Epic fail :)

There will be plenty of interfering busybodies (mum-in-law, auntie Doris etc) to sort out trivia like this. All you have to do on your wedding day is be there.

And if they do it will be some boring sh*t.

Apart from picking my ring and turning up this is about as involved as I'm getting.

I also need to pick the song for my OH to walk down the aisle to and probably the first dance too.

it suppose to me a surprise for her but she keep asking me what song i am choosing, so i took her that she is going to walk down the aisle to Dark Vader theme tune, with me and the best man having a lightsaber fight and her nephew wearing the Dark Vader helmet.

as you can imagine... she wasn't too impress with the idea.. :?

That is exactly how it went with me. She even surprised me by having a pipe band play us out (how many pipe bands did you expect there would be in Uruguay...proper bagpipes and all).

Just adding getting married is the best thing I've ever done so good luck with it man.
