Altura crumpled after washing properly ?

Following from my last post re. Goretex, I decided against Gore bike wear, Castelli Londra was no longer available, Mavis Spray is fab but not enough reflective stuff and with safety whilst commuting being highest on my priority list, I went for Altura Night vision Evo.
It got a proper mud bath on sunday so I washed it in Nikwax Tech wash then resurfaced it with Nikwax TX-Direct wash in.
Now it is dry it has tiny little crumple and crease marks all over - is this normal ?
BTW - I washed it at 30 on quick wash.
