well new rims will mean new spokes as the chance of the rims needing the same length spokes is very slim.

What are you running at the minute, what bike, and what type of riding?
  • its a remedy 8 09 model with bontrager rhythm comp wheels. doing a mix of freeride,xc and some downhill. buying new spokes too is not a problem.

hi there, I also have a trek remedy and the bontrager wheelset are good strong wheels have been told that the rear wheel have a 8mm skewer because of the ABP and a standard one if 5mm there for a new wheelset might not fit. I have been told this not checked myself you could allways check in your LBS and do me a fovour tell me if it works so i can buy a new set

The Rhythm comp rim is the same width and weight as the Flow, and as a wheelset they are the same as the Hoops @1900g give or take. They are also both tubeless, and servicable cartridge bearings, and not sure if any other hubs fit the ABP

So why change :?: best off spending the money going tubeless

You need to spend serious cash to get a lighter or stronger set of rims :(
  • well here they are- pro 2 hubs with DT swiss rims,
