Bike hire at parks

I'm travelling over from Australia next week and would love to get out to one of the MTB parks. Which of the parks hires half decent XC bikes or has some sort of deal with local shops that will allow me to ride for a day?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, should have clarified, I'll be in South Wales from late November (once the jet lag has pi$$ed off) through December. I'll ride anything from flowing singletrack up to black diamond tracks. I mostly ride XC, but am an All Mountain hack who dabbles in DH, just not very well!

I would be happy to ride with someone who can act as a guide or even lend me a bike for a few fun tickets.

look up the Cwmbran trail / uplift, i think thay have a deal with a local bike shop, and its south wales just above Newport.
