Now if your yer in the same age bracket like me then you will remember the classic BBC series KICKSTART
Now for those newbies that were born later and missed all the excitment all it was , Was a biker on a trailbike [ Petroldriven ] doing a circuit course now in the last issue of mbuk there was a article that basically reminded me of the same series ..
And it got me thinkin How many SS biker riders would or could finish that course ..
I'll say not one

There was a kid in our school, one of those "all the girls like" type.
He entered Kickstart and was all big headed about it, bragging he'd win.
Boy, did I laugh when he fell off the plank into the pit of hay.......Craig Rogers0 -

I think kickstart was my main inspiration to start properly cycling, when I was wee, we used to build little jumps and obstacles to ride over Now, I still do 8)Uncompromising extremist0

I loved Kickstart and Jr Kickstart, i can still remember watching Dougie Lampkin when he was just a little kid. I get very depressed these days when i see him on top level pro trials cause it shows my age
After i'd watched every show my and my friend all used go down to the local park and pretend we were riding trials bikes over all the slides and other stuff in the park all making vroooom noises :P
Those were the days.......0 -

i mean, WTF? Was it recorded on VSH, then played back through a 14" screen, and filmed with a 1st generation camera phone or something? There's no excuse for video that bad. :roll:0 -
