Stoooopid teachers/leaders...

Sitting here the other day, and a cyclist came past my window, on a busy A road to Pwllheli.
Then another, and another. 2 more, 3 more, another 3 or so, then...
The stoooopid female teacher/leader following them in a Transit with huge bike trailer.
She was going as slow as the last cyclists, no more than 10 mph. No hazard lights, no sign on the back of the trailer warning of "Cyclists Ahead."
This is only going to frustrate/annoy local drivers, who will try to overtake on this twisty/narrow 60 mph road, with Boy Racers from the local college coming the other way, averaging 70 mph.
She should have driven ahead and waited at appointed rendezvous points, or waited until for appropriate time and followed on later. I was waiting for the Ambulance/Fire Service/Police to be flying past a short while later on!
Bad driving, probably no Risk Assessment done, no regard for local driving conditions.
I feel she probably put the riders lives at MORE risk than her vehicle protecting them...

Just to play Devil's Advocate..
Could she have stopped to deal with an issue and now moving ahead.
Is it possible she was waiting for a clear place to overtake safely on this twisty 60 - 70 mph road before honking off at 70 mph?He that buys land buys many stones.
He that buys flesh buys many bones.
He that buys eggs buys many shells,
But he that buys good beer buys nothing else.
