Flitch Way

Planning to park at Gt Notley Country Park and join the Flitch way with the kids tomorrow. Has anyone been on it lately? Is it awash? I assume that numerous horses and dogs have left their calling cards....Oh and does anyone know where the cycle path heading south out of the GNCP leads and whether it is worth a blast?

    Having been I can now answer my own question for those wanting to go. It is not awash but there are some puddles, although my eldest did his best to disperse them all. Didn't manage to get them past the play area so have yet to explore the route leading south from GNCP. Horse poo everywhere of course - why don't the riders pick it up like dog walkers do? :lol:

    I have only just read your previous posting, and i ride the Flitch way on a regular basis and the weather never seems to affect it that much, just a few puddles here and there !

    When you ask about the cycle path leading 'South' out of GNCP i am not sure where this is in relation to the visitors centre/ car park ? perhaps you could shed some more light in relation ? ( is it a steep bridge ?)
