Went to see "We Will Rock You" in Edinburgh last night. Brilliant! But it also makes me sad that I never saw QUEEN live,
Anybody on here seen them live.
Anybody on here seen them live.

Lucky enough to see them in Brighton on the Live Killers Tour, one of the best concerts I have ever seen. Brian May's solo during Brighton Rock was out of this world.Norfolk, who nicked all the hills?

My dad often retells the story where he went to see Queen at Newcastle and they were shit.
It's a really good story, honest."A cyclist has nothing to lose but his chain"

I was unfortunate enough to catch a bit of someone doing 'Radio Ga Ga' - at a guess Freddie Mercury's corpse must have been turning at about 10,000rpm - it was horrible. Do 10 million+ people really watch that sort of sh1t every week?0 -
I saw them at 'Live Aid' where they really stole the show. The experience of 70 thousand people singing and clapping in unison to Radio GaGa was absolutely breathtaking. They were introduced to the stage by Mel Smith and Griff Rhys-Jones who came on dressed as Policemen and said,
"We've had a complaint about the noise! From a woman in Belgium!"I'm gonna live for ever. . .or die trying!!0 -
Myself & trekhead saw them at Knebworth in '86 !
A truly fabulous gig with a really awesome presence over a gigantic crowd.
We also jumped the guest inclosure fence & had a beer alongside Lemmy & Wurzel from Motorhead.0 -
Yes, on the Crazy Tour at Mcr Apollo (Crazy Little Thing was the big hit) and at Maine Rd in 1985 on the One Vision tour. I wasn't a big fan and remember getting some school friends tickets for the 2nd show at Manchester Free Trade Hall on the upcoming Night at the Opera tour (B-Rhapsody hadn't been released). Queen played 2 shows that night to satisfy demand. Anyway, a good band with a terrific frontman. Friend of mine saw them support Mott the Hoople at Man. Univ.M.Rushton0

I saw them with Foo Fighters at Hyde Park sans Freddie. Does that count? :oops:There is never redemption, any fool can regret yesterday...

Liverpool Empire in, probably, 1977. Brilliant. Ears still ringing 2 days later.0
