SRAM Twist Shifters - which grips?

Having just picked up a set of SRAM X0 Twist Shifters I now realise that my current Massi lock-on grips are too wide to work with them.

What grips are other people using with their twisters? Push-ons or lock-ons? Are there shorter length grips out there or are you using cut-down ones?

Any experience of the ODI lock on grips for twist shifters?

I used the cut down Rogues when I ran gripshift: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=10473

I still use Rogues on all my bikes, good for people wiith large hands.

  • Cheers.. do you know if the clamps are 'standard' - ie. will the clamps from my Massi grips fit the ODI ones?

i love twist grips and have used the xo ones a couple of times. each time i used these ones from ebay: 687ep version.

the site is a bit unusual for the payment as it directs you to their own webpage but it is completely reliable and the grips turned up almost as quick as if they had been sent from the uk.

theyre quite stiff but i liked that about them.
  • Thanks, I'll check those out.. I'm quite taken by the short ergonomic lock-ons (here - top right) that they do..

They do some wierd and wonderful grips! Wood, bamboo, leather anyone?
