marin nail trail ? any good for a 5ft 9in girl?

never been used , she says it was £920 ? and want £600 , but ive offered £520 ... is it a fair price and is that model anygood , first timers . any info would be gratefull .j

What year is it? if its an 09 thats a good price they are going at about 850 new.. What size frame is it?
Its a good hard tail and a medium frame would be good for a 5,9 girl0 -
My wife rides a 19" Nail trail. She is 5'7" and if I was being picky I would say it is a tad too big for her when she needs to get off the back, so with your extra couple of inches it sounds like a good fit. I used to ride the same bike but it was a bit small for me and I'm 6'1".
Its a great bike for stability being good at most things, excelling at none. Get it at the price you're asking I would say it would be a bargain but even her price is reasonable if it is truly unridden.
Couple of things if its of use. The standard hubs and the headset are pretty basic componentry so check the wheels and the steering for movement.
If you do pick it up, note that the mud clearance at the rear is tight so don't try to run tyres over 2.2 at the back in the winter.
