Today as I rode passed someone using one blowing loads of leaves and other crap from his open plan garden front into the road..and thought what a waste of time and energy come tomorrow they'll have blown back

I am surrounded with oak trees come this time of year I rake them up and place in the garden waste bin

Plus there's a good chance all of that stuff'll block up a drain at the side of the road. Clearly he didn't think it through - should've bought one of those garden vac ones instead which suck it all up into a refuse sack (Mum's got one as it's easier on her bad back than endless raking and is chuffed to bits with it).

Not to mention there's a chance of coming off the bike on wet leaves. They're as bad as black ice.

    I broke a finger when I came off. :(

Clearly he didn't give a monkeys as long as the leaves were not on his grass anymore- should've bought one of those garden vac ones instead which suck it all up into a refuse sack (Mum's got one as it's easier on her bad back than endless raking and is chuffed to bits with it).
