A sad story with a happy end.

I had to sell my Rocklobster 853 and my Giant Trance 2,to cover a shortfall in funds for our new loft conversion. 
But my wife has seen how sad I was and has purchased a new Mongoose Amasa Elite 2008,from pauls cycles to get me by.
Spec is as follows.
Rockshox Tora 289 U-turn.
6061 butted all mountain frame in Ivory white.
Ritchy comp integrated HS.
Full SRAM X-7,rear,front and shifters.
Tektro auriga comp Brakes,180f/160r.
Shimano Deore M442 Crankset.
WTB Speed disc allmountain Rims laced to Deore hubs.
WTB pure-V saddle.
Mongoose bar, stem, seatpost.
Came with Kenda Nevegal tyres but running Specialized Storm Pros because of the Mud.
And my old, but trusty M520 Pedals.

I mean its not as nice as any of my other bikes ,or is it as light,but it is a lot of fun and gets me back in the saddle.And for the money the wife paid, £420 (on sale),you simply cannot beat the spec.

Seems like a good deal, all good quality, durable, good value kit. and it looks nice too.

The price is very good,I got the last one ,they only have the comp left but its only £366 for a great spec also.

Glad to see a happy ending! It's a bummer when real life gets in the way!
If you can afford expensive bikes you buy them, if not, you adjust your budget to suit.... a proper cyclist!
