cross-country race with my running club, but I might duck out if it's p**sing down.

Long Sunday run, if I don't go to above, housework and listen to Mere whinge about her ungrateful kids (but if she cooks all is forgiven, til the next time)
  • 1. Sleeping. I am le tired and trying to fight off a mild cold.

    2. Putting flooring and shelving in my loft, while trying to avoid the hornets/flies/etc

    3. Potentially buying new jeans - I've lost some weight recently and they're all falling down. Problem is, I can't be bothered.

Sailing in the gales tomorrow morning hopefully then a thrilling afternoon washing machine shopping.
More sailing sunday morning and then probably just stuff at home on sunday afternoon, might even get time to go for a ride.

Looking forward to seeing just how windy it gets down here as to whether I can sail or not. OH thinks its going to be too windy, I reckon its gonna be fun!

But l_i_t that's the best kind of shopping there is!!!

I'm partying, it's my birthday on Monday, so me and a bunch of people are out for a curry, a gig, and a dance - all 20s themed :D
(anyone local welcome to all apart from the curry - the gig's free)

Decorating the nursery in anticipation of an Xmas delivery that's non-cycling related.

Going for Sunday lunch at some mates. He's a bit cheffy, so the food will be excellent and the wine will flow like a river in the spring time (apart from for Mrs Aprilla due to the aforementioned pending delivery; yay for designated drivers).

My son and I were due to go to Hawkshead for some mountainbiking with the cycle club we're involved with, but he threw up last night and hasn't gone to school today so I don't know if we'll be going.

If we don't go, I plan to play around with Haskell (a programming language).

Might get out on the kiteboard if it is not too much for my 7m kite. If it is too much then perhaps a ride out with the club, the home run with the wind should be fast!

Now the loft conversion has been complete finally move the bed into the master bedroom (which had been my office/den), NGale has been complaining about this for months so it will make her happy.

Once that is complete I have some work to catch up on, most importantly my CPOs papers for promotion into the Upper Yardsman Scheme, so that he can start training in Janurary.

Saturday - washing the car as it has so much cack on it people think its brown: catching up on all sorts of mundane crap I haven't been able to do in the week: shopping for bike related stuff.

Sunday - mountain biking mudfest in the Surrey Hills 8)

Catching up on sleep, the shrimp has been ill this week and every night this week I've been woken up in the middle of the night to be greeted with squitty nappies/pyjamas/bedclothes and then be vomited on for good measure.

Enjoy your new year asprilla! :x

I'm delighted that my commitments for the weekend amount to absolutely knack all.

After stocking up on booze, Modern Warfare 2 and Forza 3 should keep me reasonably well occupied. Hopefully the weather will stay awful and I'll fell less guilty about not getting out more.

I'm hatching a plan to simplify the Stats page and fix its impending millennium + 10 bug. Or maybe drink some wine instead.

Having a go at fixing lights to the carbon aero seat post so that I can commute on te new steed.

Have a ride out on it anyway

Prob take at least 1 sprog to see 2112 as he's desperate to go.
  • I will probably be "persuaded" to hang another chandelier, as apparently bare bulbs look a bit common. It's all a bit of a faff though - it's downstairs so there's all the carpet-moving and floorboard-lifting to make sure the screws for the light fitting have some wood to screw into etc.

Skiving the long run on Sunday as one hip hurts after starting this silly cycling lark.

I am doing a first aid course tomorrow, and then on Sunday I may race a cyclo cross race, it will depend on how I feel and if it is raining cats and dogs.

Going out for meal with my outlaws (60th birthday) in Grasmere, hanging a door, possibly get out for a ride with wife and dog. And if I get time start putting my 14year old P7 back together.

    thats about it.
  • Ummm... clearing out the shed of rubbish and putting the rest in the garage (pre move clear out)

Emptying the garage of the last of the rubbish and making sure everything else is packed (pre move again)

Transplanting the plants I want to keep into pots (Acers mainly... got a few lovely ones) packing up the patio set and puting THAT in the garage as well.

Oh yeah - off to look at a new car on Saturday... Audi A4 3.0 TDi 8) (instantly up for chipping it of course: 400ft/lbs of torque is too much to resist)

    Gawd busy weekend!
