Or are you all as excited about the NZ v Bahrain football game tomorrow as well? :D

If we win we are in the world cup!! We've only played in it once before in 1982 so this'll be massive for us! 8)

Wish the game was on TV here sigh. Oh well, I'll content myself with watching the Italian rugby team bending over for us and holding on for dear life

Actually it's a bloody good weekend for rugby. I'm gonna grow roots on the couch! :D

Vive les All Blacks!!! [:D]

I think I can speak for the rest of us when I say, yes. It's just you.

Could be better though if your lot turned up last weekend eh?

*refers to Northern Hemisphere Book of Excuses*

Goat .... "it's the end of our season, the boys are tired"

I mean .... "it was the ref, they didn't allow us to cheat as they normally do"

I mean .... "we thought it was a world up year so had to play badly"

I mean .... "we only play in sub standard competitions like the S14 so we're not experienced enough to handle it like the guys in the Heineken Cup"

*realises excuse book should only be used when your team loses, decides this ain't gonna happen in his lifetime and puts it in the toilet ready for more appropriate use with next bowel movement*.

    8) :D

    Vive les All Blacks!!! [:D]
  • Sorry mate, no interest in the Old Kick and Clap... What is this Heineken Cup you speak of?

Was really more after a rare piece of Crowing for the GB rugby league side!

I reckon that French guy should referee every international, having him let them do whatever they wanted on the ground made for a great game!

  • Ahhh, in that case I shall refer to the (well thumbed) NZRL Book of Excuses!

Excuse Number 1: We are STILL the World Champions 8)

You're right though. We failed to turn up and never really seemed to threaten. I didn't see all the game as it overlapped with the All Blacks and the Welsh for the first half of it.

Better team won on the day though. I don't like your chances against the Aussies though!

Yeah, I reckon the final will be a mauling, given the Strines gave everyone a week off for the game agaisnt France and we went 110% to get past you lot.

Still, I wish MoiMoi, Marshall et al a pleasant trip back to the Land of the Long Flat Vowel.

  • Hey hey hey!

Let's not get into pronounciations and how English should be spoken big guy!

I mean last time I checked "You a'wight?" and "innit" were neither words or ways to greet people

I do miss NZ Fush and Chups though! 8)

There's the mistake - he thought you meant rugby not counting to six while trying to run through a wall.

As opposed to having a pile-on, releasing the ball (should some mystifying penalty for whatever reason can be dreamt of not be given) and hoofing 50yds, out on the full.. Line-out, repeat?

I like asking Australians what part of NZ they come from, (works with Americans and Canada too). They don't like it.
