I've been looking at overshoes to continue riding deep into winter and have come across these at CRC:

Has anybody used these or have similar price overshoes that they could recommend?
Cheers, Theo.

ive previously had the endura road overshoes but then got the Pro Tarmac NPU Neoprene Overshoes, i think they are a bit more durable. i like my endura stealth tights (thats what crc call them) with bib shorts underneath helped keep the rain draining away from my feet & dont get as soaked as you would without nor get really cold.

I have a set of the MT500's had them about a week. biugt them for my commute to work every day.
they keep my feet nice and warm. Today was tyhe only day so far any water got in onto y sock. BUT that was only at the top the resr of my feet stayed dry and warm. It was propper chucking it down aswell. Well worth the 21 quid i payed for them0 -
I have a pair of MT500's, used them last year over winter and just started using them again this year. Work great for me, easy to put on, very easy to get off, still no sign of wear and they keep my £150 sidi's clean and dry, a good buy all round.uttp://farm3.static.flickr.com/2453/3644058624_66a72402ee.jpg/]Hardtail0

I think the Pro Tarmac's would be too tight a fit on a lot of MTB shoes, they're snug on my road shoes. I use Endura MT500's for MTBing and they've held up pretty well (mine are a couple of years old now although I don't use them on rides I know I'll be walking a lot). They don't really stop your feet getting wet but they do keep your feet warm and help keep your shoes a bit cleaner (mud can still get in through the bottom and work it's way around though if you walk through mud in them).0

the MT500s are fantastic, I use mine for commuting, on and off roading and they keep me warm and dry.Giant TCR advanced 2 (Summer/race)

I'm using the Shimano Multifunction With Coating from CRC at £25 reduced from £35.
Really impressed with them, totally waterproof, very well made thick neoprene material, velcro fastener underneath, XL fit well over a Shimano AM50 size 45 boot.
Only drawback is the strap round the top can be a little tight if you have big legs (are there cyclists with small legs?) but it's somewhat poinless as they don't move when zipped up.

I now have clean shoes and warm/dry feet each ride despite overshoes looking quite silly imo.'nulla tenaci invia est via'

I got the Planet X overshoes. They look like something Tolkien's Orcs would wear, but they do the trick. Everyone else's seem more elegant though.Knees tracking forward, elbows soft, cadenc- ooo, bunnies!0
