I would change the handle bar's and make it look like a racer for which it is
  • Not wrong with brown bikes but I'm not feeling either of those shades TBH.

  • If I remember rightly, the Simple is the singlespeed version of the Soul. It's a pity that they only do the powdercoated version in those two colours. I have a powdercoated bright orange Soul hanging in my workshop ready to be my winter project, but they only do orange in painted finish on the Simple. Don't listen to the wind-ups on here, the Builders Tea colour is quite nice in the flesh, it is not brown, it literally is the same colour as tea. I would avoid the Espresso, it can only be described as dark brown (poo), not the most flattering colour for anything.

Quality wise it is a great frame, very well finished, you'll be well pleased. Best to avoid the painted versions, I have heard a few grumbles.

Actually I really like both. Preference swings towards the 'Expresso' if I'm honest. Why stick with 'Raw', white or black, just because their deemed to be fashionable? So was having everything on your bike anodized purple and look how that turned out...

Plus the brown will allow you to blend in to your woodland surrounds when the hoards of dog walker come hunting for your blood.
  • The expresso looks weak. If I got served that in a coffee shop I'd be looking for them to make another.

Can't say I'm keen on either colour, but expresso is the better of the two.

Saab used to have an "expresso" paint colour that was quite cool looking. almost a metallic black, with a shimmer of gold.

If they bring out a white one, will they call it "lighthouse tea" - damn near water!

after seeing those pictures, i'd probably go builders tea - tell people it's clay to save embarresment.

I prefer the builder's tea out of those two.
