How many cogs on the cassette?0

I think the 14-34 megarange is a 6 or 7 speed freewheel so no, there's no way to match it up to 10 speed STI shifters.0

10 speed shifte? I run an 8-speed doner on mine.0

Shifte is regularly on the menu at my local.
It's better than what I originally misread it as....0 -

the latest Sram XX mtb cassettes are 11-32 and 11-36 but they aren't cheap
see http://www.sram.com/en/XX/products/cassette.phpFacts are meaningless, you can use facts to prove anything that's remotely true! - Homer0 -

As I recall Harris Cyclery sells individual rear cogs in a variety of sizes. So they are out there, or at least over here. I would think any decent shop would be able to get them for you. Just ask.0 -
Another problem is your rear derailleur. Road derailleurs (long and short cage) are generally rated up to 27T, though this can be pushed to up to 30. But certainly not 34. I believe you can use a 9 speed derailleur with 10 speed shifters and cassette though, so you can just stick an MTB derailleur on there. Probably.Bike lover and part-time cyclist.0

I fitted an eight speed mega range to my claud.I had to get a long cage derailler though as it kept hitting.I also changed the normal from double to a triple meant changing bb etc but as i have only got back into cycling recently it was a good lesson on bike building . I believe i got a mtb cluster from sjs cycles0
