Am I being a complete idiot

Chances are the answer to my question is yes but anyway......

I've been looking for deals on disk brakes and I found this:

http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... delID=7927

I instantly thought 'awesome' but then realised that the offer is for Front Brakes only. This has me confused though because they are selling a RH and LH lever.

Now back to the subject of this topic. Am I a complete idiot for not realising you could get LH levers for front brakes or could I use these as both front and rear brakes?

Feel free to take the piss but any genuine answers will be much appreciated.

Cheers,
Chris

some levers are sided. and if running the same sized discs you either need different calipers or different adapters.

so yes some can be sided.

then we com onto the shimano waggly shifter where the gear shifter defines the side.

It's because those people who live the other side of our moat put there levers the other way round.

So when you get on a French bike and you slam the rear brake on over the bars you go because that was the front.

CRC sell worldwide so that's the reason for both levers.
