anyone else having problems getting holdof exposure lights?

I ordered a pair of joystick maxx from ukbikestore over a fortnight ago, and they say the promised deliveries from exposure never arrive- they should have had stock on the 1st November but it never arrived.

Presumably exposure are having trouble keeping up with demand??

Think I'll email exposure directly

They've got Joyticks in stock in evans in brum, I think wiggle have them too.

I've not heard anything about supply problems, have you used this retailer before?

Cancel you order and get the P7? See other ''what light'' thread.

    £140 for 240 lumens ??? So you are spending £280 for 480......

ukbikestore arent even the cheapest for those.

Cancel your order straightaway and check out the better options out there.

If you want Exposure then don't be swayed. They are expensive but the quality is topnotch. I've run them thru the worst of last years winter & have started to use them again this year. They are as bright as ever, nothing rusty/furred up/dropped off etc.

Mine are 480 lumens( much brighter available etc) but that's plenty bright enough to ride home from work on unlit roads. The other thing is the quality of the battery. Exposure use high quality Sanyo Li/ion units, they have no charge memory so you can charge from fully disharged or top up from half etc with no damage to the battery.

The P7's from another thread are well regarded but it's your dosh. Top product but pricey.

Ps....the RedEye is well worth it too, £40 & super bright.

well the joysticks were 15% off rrp at bikestore then there was a discount code ( CYP 291 ) published in last months cycling + mag to bring the price down to £130 for the joystick with handlebar mount so ukbikestore ARE the cheapest- the toro, for example is RRP £274 but only £220 at bikestore with the extra discount.

Just wish they'd get the bloody stock in.....

Yes I know I can get a P7 torch for less but have heard dubious reports of dogy quality and they're not waterproof apparently....

? I haven’t heard anyone moaning. One or two minor issues granted, but what do you expect for £25 quid. I could buy 10 x P7 touches for what your paying. I really think your mad. For the price of a decent meal surely you should try the P7 for yourself? What have you got to lose.
As for not being waterproof? I’ve seen several you tube videos that contradict that theory. I also went out in torrential rain Sunday morning, and have been out in the rain previously and they work fine!

I havent submerged mine - but they have survived heavy rain just fine.

If you are worried about water - get one P7 and one Fenix - they are waterproof and would be fine to get you home - IF the P7 died.

I've had my P7 a year now and its been good.

I've also heard of people who have had crap Iphones - but the vast majority are fine.

My Fenix has survived numerous outings in the wet.

I'm with carrock on this. I don't think the P7s from HK necessarily render the premium brands obsolete. Exposure have a very good product range. Expensive, yes, but great build, mounts, burn times, accessories, customer service, guarantee, no 3 week waits, unexpected import duty etc etc. Both ends of the spectrum have their place but you pays your money you makes your choice. The thing that really put me off the el cheapos was one thread on here where the battries self destructed and they weren't even on charge. I prefer piece of mind that I'm probably not going to burn the house/office down!!

Back to the original question - haven't heard any issues with stock of exposure - friend of mine just bought one from wiggle that was in stock. Worth emailling exposure - they have always got back to me in a day or two when I have contacted them.

I havent heard of anyone getting done for import duty ?
Didnt some iphones blow up recently ? So anything is possible.

Spending that amount of money for that amount of light is mad.

I get spending the cash on lights, if I had the cash/didn't have the wife then I would.

My cheapo jersey covers my moobs as well as an assos one would, but if I had the cash I'd be willing to spend the extra for the known brand and quality. I had no idea how small the joystick was until I saw one in evans, well impressed.

I wouldn't swap my magicshine for one though.
