26" lightweight road frame

Due to the sudden expiry of the frame of my Dahon Cadenza, I now in need of a new (non -folding) lightweight frame for 26" wheels.
I have been riding 700c wheeled frames all my life but have no experience of lightweight road frames for 26" wheels with V brake bosses.

Any ideas?

Alternative is just to source an an old steel frame, rebuild the wheels to 700s and source some new brakes.

    Why don't you look for a hybrid frame or a alloy MTB frame, much more natural with 26" wheels
