Where to go cycling this weekend??
Hi,
The missus and I are looking for somewhere to go cycling this weekend. Ideally we want to travel about 2 hours from Milton Keynes, we are going to stay 2 nights in a B&B and just go cycling etc. Routes should be single track, bridleways etc. Just looking for some good ideas of where to go really. We were thinking of going to Brecon Beacons but it is quite far for just 2 nights. My other idea was to go to the Cotswolds?
Any suggestions welcome!

Bedgebury is ok and there is a reservoir nearby for non-trail-centre riding.
Look at my website (link in my sig) for more info.
You could also give Rutland Water a go. Again there is plenty of bridleways nearby plus the 20odd mile route around Rutland Water itself. My Website - Trail Centre info for the UK: MTB Trail Time0 -
How about Surrey Hills? Plenty of excellent single track that will easily fill 2 days of riding without too much repetition. Look for B&Bs around either Peaslake or Westcott for the best starting off points for exploring the area.0
