For some reason, my computer appears to be playing up. The wording and images have gone rather large? Is this something to do with the visual drivers? Also, can it be fixed? I must say, I have had my Dell for around 1 year now and I'm not that impressed with it. Also, spell check also has packed in? Cheers

  • if its windows xp, right click on the desktop and click properties - then select settings in the display and slide the resolution bar up to see if that has for some reason been changed.

Perhaps its got a virus, its not behaving weirdly or anything? such as windows media player going off and playing terrible music like the Stranglers is it? If it is its probably best to reformat it or at least pull the speaker jack out until you have time to.

You could try a system restore to a point when it was last working properly.
  • Have you been topping it up with fresh words?

I have heard that when they run out of words some computers make the words they have bigger to compensate and they find it hard to spell check because they have so few words in them.

Seeing as this is a bike forum I suggest strapping it to your pannier rack and taking to a shop to have the words "topped up" or adjust the rear derailleur until it almast changes up a cog then try spell checking again.

    Hope this helps?

Have you ever thought about working the stage? Actually, on second thoughts, don't pack in the day job!
