    I go when I'm tired, usually between 22:00 - 00:00.
I don't set my alarm, except for the day I go back to work.
I usually wake, unaided, around 6am.

  • Around midnight normally, get up at 7am/8am at the latest every day.

Very rarely in bed twice the same day. But then, I'm retired and no longer have to be on my bike riding to work at 0630 :D

Yeah I don't need an alarm now either, last time I set it was for the Big G when I left at something like 3am, even then i think Iwas awake.

I go to sleep at midnight on college days, sometimes maybe 11pm, but on normal nights around 1-2, last night I went to sleep at half 3 as we ordered curry at half 2 , I've got Pilu rice for breakfast now.
  • Depends, if i'm feeling stressed can be bed at 4 sleep at about 7 then up at 8, if drunk then i can't remember if tired then 2-3ish :(

10.30pm so I can either be up for work at 6am or on the bike for a lovely morning ride (usually the former )
  • Being winter time, early – ideally 9pm latest – and I am up again early.

It means that by late morning around 11am I've already done a day's work and can potter about doing my own stuff with the remaining 5 hours of daylight available (e.g. out on bike – because I hate early morning bike rides in the wintertime) .

Between 9 and 10pm, need my Zeds.
  • I have narcolepsy so fall asleep all the time randomly, plays havoc with my bike, one minute going along minding my own business next I'm waking up in the road still attached to my bike. It can be a right pain but thats all pa fdhgjkt

  • work days i go to bed at 10ish and set my alarm for 6 40 press snooze a few times then normally get out of bed by 7, weekends if i stay in it is whenever i get tired or bored but normally end up getting in from going out at anything between 12 and 3, find it much easier to get up at weekends and get out on the bike than getting up for work

    Bed between 11 and 12.

Alarm goes off at 5am on my bike by 5.30 for a 10 mile commute.

Isn't it odd how going to bed in what I would call the early evening (eg 9 or 10pm) and getting up early is considered virtuous whereas staying up late (1 or 2 am) and getting up at 9am is sinful.

Wouldn't agree with that myself, i'd love to be able to go to sleep and wake up at 'normal' times whatever those times may be. People work different hours so , personally, don't see someone with thos sleep patterns virtuous - boring maybe

I'm really bad at getting to bed.

Seldom before 12:30 am, often after 1:30am and never before 11pm.....

Still up at 7am work days and 7:30/8:00 am at the weekends so I tend to be knackered :(

Usually go to bed about 10.30pm and get up at 6.00am this time of year to muck out the horse before work. Summer gives me the luxury of an extra hour as the horse is out over night. Weekends I stay in bed until the Mrs force me to get up and make her a cuppa so about 9.00am.

You have to change it yourself.

  • To bed between 9 and 10pm, up at 5am 3-4 times a week for runs, 6am on a non-running day although that's set to change because I'll be up at 5am to start my car/bike commute (at least to start with while I recce different routes, stop for rests, get lost etc.).

This has always been my choice - I'm rarely in bed before 1 am and usually get up at 8 and into work about 10.30 am. Occasionally I get a boss who insists that everyone gets in at 9.00 but they never last long 8)

Whenever I stay at my parents place I get nagged about staying up late - they go off at about 10.00 or 11.00 and then I get nagged all over again when I lay in till 9.00 next morning. I just don;t understand it - and you'd think that by the time their son has reached 43 that they'd have given up trying to change my lifestyle.

Luckily I married someone as sluvenly as me - worse in fact - she makes me look like an early riser

I've just realised this is aspirational. Having a two-week old daughter, I may as well not go to bed anymore!

Me too, except replace lectures with work. I can start as late as 10 am as long as I do 36 Hours a week on average. It only takes me 20 mins to get to work too :P

Usually go to bed around 10:30 (depending on what's on TV!) then the Mrs wakes me up at 7 when she leaves for work, then I get up around 8:00-8:30 and leave around 8:30-9:00.
