Pletscher Multi Zoom Kickstand

I bought one on thursday and just gone to use it today and it snapped clean in half, i'm going to be taking it back, but i'm trying to decide whether to get a replacement or to get a different make all together, has anybody got any experience of this stand and do you think hebie are any better?, cant believe it just snapped still but oh well opinions on this stand and the hebie 671 would be appreciated, altough I have looked at the 672 but cant seem to get it in this country.

eeerm kickstands are not really for mtbing, they just collect mud!0

I know they do, but it would come off when the bike goes off road.0

i lean it on most things but i bought it for when ive got panniers on as its more convienient then.0

i dont have the money for two or more bikes, I have one that I use for everything, it all comes off when i want to enjoy myself. ps kick stand no more that was the point of posting as it snapped in half, so its only half as bad.0
