Hope cassette

I recently managed to purchase a lovely Hope pro2 rear hub to replace my Knackered Shimano deore one, and was wondering if I should replace the cassette as well if I'm going to be using a new hub?? Also if I'm going to replace the cassette should I replace the chain as well (chain has done about 400miles) and i don't want to say it...the chain rings? I only ask as I know you can get ware issues and gears slipping if you use a worn chain with a new casstte etc. Chars

WHat cassette is it? Hope Pro 2 with the alloy rotor body needs a cassette with an alloy carrier like an XT.
But generally no need to replace the cassette if not worn if you have a new hub.0 -
It's currently a Shimano Deore one on there at the minute. So may need to be replaced???0

Yes, I would replace it or the deore will damage the freehub/rotor body.
Shimano XT or SRAM PG990.
It is advisable to get a new chain too.0 -
Right ok, so I can leave the chainrings alone then?
Cool cheers for the advice feller.0 -
If they are not worn, they will be fine.0
