Brake upgrade for My Giant Yukon FX3

Hi All

I've got a Giant Yukon FX-3 and I'm thinking of upgrading the brakes. It came with cable discs that really don't seem to hot. I had LX Hydraulic discs on my last bike and found them a hell of a lot better, so I guess the question is what should I go for?

I'm just after something decent but not over priced. I've had a look at some of the Avid deals on the Chainraction site but not sure if they're the best to go for or not. Any recommendations for a noob??

    Hi Avid juicy 3 or 5 appear good value at CRC just now[I have some Juicy3's on an old bike and they have always work well ]Also shimano M575 get good reviews. Hope this is of some help

    I was looking at some of the Shimano offers on CRC as well. They have 50-60% off some of the disc brakes. Might be worth a punt.
