Anyone using insulating tape instead of this?

Is it ok, and one layer or two? I need some for tomorrow and I can't be ar$ed to go to the shop.

bit thin i think. I use duck tape for mine though.

I use insulation tape on my MTB wheels where the tyres never go above 50psi, but on road wheels with 100psi in the tubes insulation tape deforms too much. Probably better than no tape at all in an emergency, but not by much.
