Coming from a Boardman Comp FS I had to adjust my riding style a tad. I was all over the place in the first proper bit of DH I tackled. After some compression fettling is was tremendous.
The Lyrik 2 step is a dream and I love the elevated feel on the downhill with the forks set at the most travel.
Seat post was a bit fiddly and kept slipping so after I sorted out the collar it was fine.
Brakes are very progressive with pretty big rotors. Loving the pro-pedal too.
Most of all I love the Miami Vice style 80's white colour. Very striking indeed.....
I had my reservations about an All Mountain bike but it climbs like a goat. More so if you jack the forks down to get over the front wheel
I have been a hardtail man since the 1992 or so but since getting the Boardman on a cycle2work scheme I am a firm believer in full suss...
But alas.......more speed = more bleed !0 -
VERY nice! treasure it, as you'll never see it that clean again!0
