Hi all!!

Just to give you some background - I work in Cyprus, but am originally from Shropshire, since i was posted out there i've wanted to get back into mountain biking. Looking around, the new Specialized range took my eye, so went a bit out and got the FSR XC Pro. Though the bike comes with some top bits on it, i wanted to improve some minor parts. The front derailleur and shifters are now XT and the pedals are shimano M545. I love the way it rides and takes the bumps, and its nice to finally have a lock out feature on the shocks :) Which will make the ride to work nice and simple.

By the way, is it now UK law to sell bikes with bells on them?? I removed all the reflectors and put on my lights, but i thought it was odd to see pretty much every bike in the shop (inc the top of the range £5k+ bikes) with bells on them??

  • Gorgeous bike. I was thinking that about the bells as all the bikes in Halfords have them too!

lovely bike :) the white looks really nice

and yeah, i hear all bikes have to have bells, reflectors and front and rear brakes (obviously most dirt jumpers/park riders etc only run rear brakes)

Very nice 8) . Just something about white bikes
    2014 Whyte T-129S
  • They do look great, but its going to get covered in dust and mud during its life, so will just appreciate the cleanliness now lol!!! Just put in some of those kevlar strips in the tires to help against punctures. Its very common to get them out there with the bondu's consisting of thorns.

Thanks for the comments peeps :)
