Stamp marking on spokes

Chaps,
The rear wheel on my meta keeps breaking spokes at the nipple. My LBS is doing a good job of replacing them (with DT swiss comp spokes). I've noticed that the original ones are stamped with the letter N (or maybe a Z if i'm reading it sideways) at the hub end, the DT ones have a different marking.
Anyone know who makes these spokes?

No idea but it sounds like your whole wheel needs retensioning. See here:
