Hi all,

Have seen one of these on sale at evans for £499.99 in a large frame. Is this a good price??
It seems very well specd up up carbon forks & tiagra front/rear/chainset & wheels for the money.
Can anybody reconmend the pinnacle series road bikes? Aslo, will a large frame fit me, i am 5' 11" meduim build.

Thanks
Smeev

telescopic head-tube with massive headset makes for a very upright position

    ie not racy

was given one free as a courtesy bike following accident... i do not like mine but i use it as a town runabout which is fine specially given the geometry

IME it isn't really a road bike more a general all rounder with the emphasis on upright comfort

I wouldn't buy one on the basis of the frame geometry alone but technically its supposed to be a fit

Thank you for the commnet. What would you recomend for £500 for fitness/work commute. Bit of a novice to be fair.

    Thanks

have a look at a btwin seems popular for something cheap and racy

    or halfords for the boardman....

most of what you like about a bike will be the fit...

anything that is a tad annoying after a minute is gong to be a nightmare after a hour or so...
