Folks,
Any recommendations for a long distance touring SPD shoe ? Will be riding a road bike but want a spd shoe with a recessed cleat so I can walk around occasionally. Looking for something that has strong support to put up with the smaller spd pedal footprint over long road distance but is as light and cheap as possible.
Thanks

I use carbon sole mtb shoes for this very purpose

specialized bg 2008's (i think) get the fact carbon soles

    pricey

mtb shoes with carbo soles from any of the usual suspects around 120 quid (or so)

anything else is fairly pointless IME or at least equivlent comfort vs price wise

I reckon there is a gap in the market for a high performance recessed cleat shoe for brisk touring.
