Let me in! Tour de France entry
There seems to be ots of speculation about which teams might get entry and even the criteria for entry. So who can tell me which teams are gauranteed a place? How many wild cards are there? how many teams will be in the race? and when is it all confirmed?
There will be lots of chasing wild cards and i can't beleive Team Sky won't be there just because the exposure the race would get from such a big media outlet would be too good to turn down (plus imagine the negative media they would get from excluding sky, i am sure Murdoch would not be pleased). BMC seem to be recruiting for a place does this leave cervelo vulnerable. Presumably the Shack will get a place again becauseof the publicity this would generate. So who misses out? Cervelo?

There's a good summary at Podiumcafe:

...but it's still pretty confusing with a lot of stuff up in the air. The ASO still have the power to disinvite teams if they think it will damage the image of the race, like they did with Fuji last year. Having said that, there weren't any big scandals this year, so that option may not be available in 2010.0
