Cycle Northern Germany Winter

Hi,

Thinking of taking in a few days cycle touring in the north of Germany (from Berlin up to the Baltic sea) around new year - How cold is it likely to be? Icey? Snow?

Think you can safely safe it could be cold. Unless there is an unseasonally warm snap/wet period. Been in Christmas markets in Bruges and Lubeck and it was cold then.
