im on the lookout for new shoes, something the missus can get me for christmas
at the moment i have a cheap pair of shimano road shoes, R76`s i think, anyway, the problem with them is my right foot CONSTANTLY goes numb, the shoes definetly arent too small in lenght, but is it possible the width is the problem?
do i need to be buying a shoe with a slightly wider front, or narrower, so its more snug?
any help would be great lads
oh, i tried a pair of northwave aerators on, seemed nice and roomy, any other options?

Could be that the straps are being pulled too tight, or the cleat is slightly mispositioned. Shoes are one of those things (along with helmet) that you really have to try on before buying.Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos0

no matter what i do with the straps, it goes numb, only ever my right though, i out it down to the vent making my foot too cold, but sure it even happens in the warmth of my house when im on the trainer
i doubt its cleat position, i got professionally fitted for the bike, besides, it happened before the fitting as well
thanks anyway
i was just hoping to get some general views on shoes etc..0
